Cost of living: Mirfield pupil sets up school uniform exchange

A secondary school pupil has been collecting donated school uniforms to help families struggling with the cost of buying clothes.

Bertie, who attends Mirfield Free Grammar School in West Yorkshire, arranged for a Uniform Exchange collection point to be set up at his school.

He said: "Not only is it helpful to the environment, but also it just helps families who need the uniform anyway who can't afford it."
